The Ultimate List Of NARS Makeup Dupes
NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer Vs Maybelline Fit Me Concealer
Possibly the most beloved and famous and hyped Nars product ever is the Radiant Creamy Concealer! It’s rated as the best Nars product to try and is famed for creamy and pigmented, high quality formula – it blends beautifully and really gives a flawless photo finish to the under eye. I love how you cannot detect that you are actually wearing makeup, the flawless base appears just as your own skin!
No matter how beloved this concealer is, Fitme concealer offers tough competition. Is Maybelline Fit Me concealer a dupe for Nars? Absolutely, yes! You can achieve the same, smooth, natural finish with this absolute gem. The texture of these concealers is so very lightweight, you can’t feel that you are wearing any makeup at all and the formula of both adheres beautifully to fit the curves and crevices of your face, never settling in fine lines and creases, which is amazing. It looks and feels totally natural on, very ‘my skin but better’!
The first only difference between the two is that Fit Me tends to offer more of a medium coverage (just apply two layers for full coverage) whereas as Nars is more full coverage (only need one layer and you’re done). Even if you want full coverage with the Fit Me concealer, however, it still looks gorgeous and natural and does not cake at all, which is amazing.
The Fit Me foundation is only a tad more fluid in texture than its high end counterpart, which I really prefer as it only makes it easier and more effortless to blend and easier to achieve that gorgeous, flawless finish. The only difference between the two concealers is that Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer dries too quickly for my liking which is annoying and Fit Me doesn’t. It gives you more time to work with the product, which is amazing. It also carries a wider shade range than its higher end counterpart, making this Nars drugstore dupe even better than its original! It’s such a steal!!
NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer Vs ELF BB Cream
The best price for the Nars Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser is here (UK) and here (US)
The best price for the ELF BB Cream is here (UK) and here (US)
The Nars Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser is beloved for its gorgeous, rare to find formula. It’s super natural looking — almost undetectable, but it’s also blurring and really radiant/dewy. One golden thing about this product is that it is pearlescent — not glittery or shimmery, but the “radiance” comes from light reflecting ingredients. It’s rare to find a drugstore product that emulates that gorgeous, dewy skin finish. It’s perfect to layer with other products and contains an SPF 30. It’s so effortless to use and wear in summer and is an amazing way to enhance and accentuate your skin, while letting its beauty shine through.
Dupe alert! The sheer difference in price makes the Elf BB cream more feasible, but it also carries the exact same finish and formula as this Nars cult product. It is so, so similar and looks identical on the skin, with light, weightless coverage, sheer tint and SPF (even though it is just spf 20), giving a natural fresh finish. The formula truly looks and feels identical in every way and it looks just like a filter on your skin, it is identical in terms of blurring effect and lit from within radiance! The only qualm is that it has a hint of a fragrance, which is very slight but may not be desirable for some, and it contains half the quantity of its Nars counterpart, although, for $6 or £5 that is pretty darn good!
NARS Multiple Stick Vs Wet N Wild Megaglo Stick
The Nars Multiple Stick is a multipurpose creamy blush fused highlight to light up and lift the face. Famed for its versatility and how gorgeous it looks on the skin, it can be used on eyes, cheeks, lips and body to give you a sheer shimmer that lasts all day. It’s easy to blend out and style how you want it, the subtle pink glow but glittery shimmer, ‘orgasm’ is a signature shade of Nars. I believe this product is worth the money as there is so much of it and it’ll last up she’s, even if you use it every day. On cheeks, it applies more evenly and blends better than glossier cloud paints! The shade Orgasm is a cult favourite in particular and is proven time and time again to attract the most compliments.
Let’s compare with Wet n Wild cosmetics Megaglo Stick as a dupe for Nars, a super lightweight pretty glow-y shade that looks dewy and sun kissed on cheeks and face. It makes skin look so radiant and gorgeous, is best applied with fingers or even a stippling brush. It comes in different shades, as a bronzer, blush, concealer, but the blush is such a good Nars Multiple Stick drugstore dupe!
One main difference is the shape of the product. Compared to Nars, the Wet n Wild dome shape feels so much easier to work with and fits the contours of your face so much easier. Though both of these sticks look extremely beautiful on the skin with a light natural blush, the Nars does last longer as the longevity of the Wet n Wild stick isn’t as good, it lasts around 2-3 hours with a setting spray. It’s such a good product to go for if you always wanted to try the Nars Multiple Stick, to get a feel for whether you like the finish and how often you reach for it. At around £5, the wet n wild stick is so much cheaper than the Nars one!
NARS Laguna Bronzer Vs NYX Matte Bronzer
The Nars Laguna Bronzer is such a joy to use, it is super lightweight and buildable, uber richly pigmented cool toned brown and really defines your cheekbones and makes your face pop! The colour pay off is amazing and it easily lasts all day; you can also get this in a mini size, which is great if you want to give the product a try but don’t want to commit to full size. However, there is a cheaper option that is even better…
Even though, Laguna is one of the better bronzers out there in the market, NYX is bringing it with their Matte Bronzer. Although there are a few differences, NYX’s is a little more pigmented and just a tad bit warmer, they both give exactly the same finish, are super buildable and are extremely easy to blend too. It’s so neutral and natural and perfect to bring out your cheekbones, it looks just like your face is naturally tanned and you’ve just come back from holiday, there is no shimmer to deal with and it carries a velvety finish to look like natural skin. The only qualm is that it produces a fair amount of fallout, but doesn’t affect how it performs on the skin. This is an amazing option for all skin tones and such a gem to try out! It’s one of my favourite Nars makeup dupes ever!
NARS Orgasm Blush Vs Milani Dolce Pink Blush
One of Nars best known products, the Orgasm blush has become a cult beauty favourite and is one of the must try Nars beauty products out there! Its gorgeous warm rosy pink hue complete with warm gold shimmer flecks is the perfect way to brighten the complexion and bring a softness and warmth to your face, like a rose garden on your face! It’s just the blendability and way it melts in to your makeup that is everything, it is so flattering on the face and gives the most beautiful finish.
These shades are so similar, they are almost identical! Milani is just ever, ever slightly more cool toned and just a little bit more pigmented, but they both have the same pink base, a light gold shimmer finish, they both blend beautiful and give the most angelic and beautifully smooth and even finish. It has such good staying power too and is very luminous, it carries more shimmer than Nars, which is good if you love a glow, although is only slightly chunkier! It costs around £8 compared to Nars Orgasm Blush at around £28.
NARS Climax Mascara Vs Maybelline Rocket Volume Mascara
It’s hard to find a good drugstore dupe for Nars Climax Mascara, it lengthens like a dream and gives the illusion of lash extensions. It’s known to dry quickly and holds curled lashes in place, compared to normal drugstore mascaras that stay thick and wet for some time, while not clumping at all. It’s such a coveted beauty product that is so hard to replicate or find one that is just as perfect as this.
We all know that Maybelline knows its mascaras. Introducing this beautiful Rocket volume mascara, a gem of a product that is an absolute gamechanger when it comes to mascaras. It makes such a huge difference to your lashes and boosts them instantly, it’s everything you could want in a mascara and more. It’s so buildable without clumping at all and boosts every tiny lash, making a visible difference to all your lashes. It’s also waterproof, where its Nars counterpart doesn’t seem to be. The only difference seems to be that the shape of the wands are not the same but both of these mascaras give us the same result. For £8 this is amazing!
NARS Audacious Lip Anita Vs NYX Root Beer Float
The best price for the NARS Audacious Lipstick in Anita is here (UK) and here (US)
A full-coverage lipstick with a creamy and luxurious texture, it has a satin-like creamy finish and boasts single stroke coverage and is famed for its rich pigmentation. Anita is the most beautiful deep neutral dusty pink, an earthy rosy shade that compliments the face beautifully and looks amazing on all skin tones, from light to dark. It is not particularly a hydrating lipstick, although the texture is super creamy and comfortable to wear. It is a lot like Charlotte Tilbury K.I.S.S.I.N.G lipsticks formula in that respect for me.
This Anita lip shade is more than gorgeous but I believe NYX Butter Lipstick in shade Root Beer Float measures up just as good! The colours are so, so similar – and check out how similar the NYX Butter Lipstick in shade Pops Explosif is also! – plus just as richly pigmented, the colour payoff is insane and the finish is soft, satin like and creamy. They are virtually identical! The only difference is that NYX leaves a slightly more luminous finish I think, although there is no sparkle and shimmer. Like Nars, it is not a particularly hydrating lipstick, but the ‘butter’ aspect of its name refers to the beautiful, creamy texture it has and how comfortable it is to wear. If you want to try Nars Anita, go for this perfect dupe first!
NARS Turkish Delight Lip Gloss Vs Revlon Lip Gloss In Sky Pink
Nars Turkish Delight is a product I have had on my wishlist since literally 2013, when I made a little wishlist board on my blog about it. It’s the perfect baby pink, a pinky-beige with subtle warm undertones and a creamy, glossy finish and looks as yummy as it sounds. It is reknowned for its super buildable and moisturising formula and provides you with the sweetest, dreamiest wash of colour.
But for lip balms and glosses, especially high end ones, it kind of breaks your heart a little using them as you often have to reapply them so often and they get used up so fast! Here is where Revlon saves us. Its lip glosses are literally to die for and super affordable. A high impact lip colour with a super moisturizing and creamy formula, Sky Pink is almost an exact match shadewise and is infused with Agave, Moringa Oil, & Cupuacu Butter. Both of them contain the same amount of lustre and pigmentation and are virtually identical side by side, making it one of the best NARS drugstore makeup dupes!
