What to wear to turn heads, plus asos hack!

Here are some universally flattering pieces to stand out and turn heads this summer, to add to your ASOS basket! For me fashion is all about sculpting the body and the face, drawing attention to your best features, dressing and shaping the body like a second skin. Sometimes fragility is the boldest statement you can make, I love using it to stand out. Read on to find out how to get noticed, why these will help you turn heads, how to style them to attract attention, plus a sneaky ASOS hack that will help you score your favourite items - and your perfect size - even if they are sold out on the website!

Me being me I decided to put a vintage girl spin on it haha, think ethereal, floaty Marie Antoinette inspired, cool, sheer garments paired with feathery brows, curled lashes and flushed cheeks. River paddling and looking and feeling soft like a flower all summer. This guide draws inspiration from her most controversial looks. People at the time were both obsessed and simultaneously horrified by her   sheer dresses and floaty garments, it was definitely considered 'out there' when status in society meant donning layers of rich and opulent fabrics to make a statement. Now broderie, lace and sheer pieces are in season we too can feel like queens and make our statement, turn heads wherever we go.

1. Collusion shirred broderie skater dress - Check out the hem on this dress, it's so f l o a t y and delicate! I absolutely love the dreamy neckline. It's kind of a babydoll style, yet relaxed for a daytime look. Wearing (almost) all white instantly brings out or creates a tan, it really makes your skin pop and look glowy. Textures like lace, satin, silk, velvet stand out and command attention.

2. Button through mini floral sundress - here is how to look like an actual blossom, this is the prettiest thing since sliced bread, I love the bodice and the floaty, romantic tiered skirt.

3. Button through broderie tea dress - square necks elongate the neck and are super flattering, they also remind me of the 17th and 18th century dresses and gowns. I really love the Stradivarius tops here, you can really build a whole Marie Antoinette inspired wardrobe with them and they are perfect for layering. Just giving you me more reasons to justify clothes shopping this summer...

4. Tocca fragrance and hair perfume - the perfect place to apply fragrance is to the hair, as it locks in the scent and helps it to last all day, ensuring that with each hair swish you can make your presence felt. I really want to try the Tocca fragrances, especially their hair perfume range, they sound totally gorgeous and the bottles will be perfect for your dressing table, so pretty.

5. Nars Afterglow lip balm in 'Orgasm' - meant to be the ultimate 'lips but better' shade, perfect for all skin tones, infused with Monoi hydrating complex and antioxidants aswell as dreamy peach shimmer, it's perfect to wear on hot days. It's also said to be extremely popular with the opposite sex, the best proven lipstick to wear if you're ever looking to attract a date or to get hit on.

6. New Look broderie lattice front top - this is so pretty!! I love the fit too, how it emulates the trimmed corset shape, the square neck and ruffled trim is gorgeous. Pair with a floaty skirt for an eye catching contrast or use it to bring a dreamy feel to a comfy jeans and tee combo.

7. Boohoo shirred white playsuit - this piece is so cute and easy for hot days, I love the bodice and ruffle details. It's really unique and pretty.

8. Charlotte Tilbury new magic away concealer - meant to produce actual goddess skin, according to those who have tried it. It's said to care for your skin whilst you wear it with Persian Silk Tree Bark extract, provide full perfect coverage with a unique elastic flexible and breathable second skin texture, and also happens to be the same price as the Too Faced Born this Way sculpting concealer. I have definitely been swayed to try this instead, the internet has convinced me.

9. Long sleeve square neck top - I love this corset style top, the broderie details and the timeless neckline come together perfectly. It's perfect too if you love the look of off the shoulder styles but find bardot tops a little too uncomfortable. I dare you to try this and not find it makes your neck look longer. It works to really elongate the upper body and makes you look and feel elegant.

Hack - click on any of the items above. Now, go to the top right hand corner of the page to find your little country icon. Change it to a different country, like France or different US territories, depending where you are in the world. The page should refresh to show you how many of that item is in stock on the French site. It can show different stock quantities on different sites, so you have a much better chance of finding that item in your size. Simply add to basket like you would normally and Paypal will automatically convert that currency to your currency. The postage charges should be the same or even cheaper! It can be crazy addictive, I managed to score the most beautiful top after it was completely sold out on the UK site and delivery took the same amount of time too, I had it in just a few days.

This article is probably just a lot of me oogling after dresses haha. Don't be afraid to try things on to find the perfect fit, until you find garments you don't want to take off haha! I love it when you find a piece you love so much, it seems to fit like a second skin. 4. The dress at n.2 is so pretty! I love all your picks, the little white blouses are perfect for spring. Your Asos hack is very clever! I've been in the situation of finding a sold-out item on the UK website before while it was still available on the French one, but I didn't order it and gave up thinking that shipping costs would be too much... Now I know better and I will try again!
