Get Crafty! The most important part of your garden is the colour and greenery. If you have grass, it can be a beautiful feature to show off, however, keeping up to lawns is difficult and time consuming and takes effort to either do yourself or to hire a gardener, the pricing can add up. You could look at Artificial Grass that will look incredibly beautiful and green but will not need the upkeep month in and month out.

It can be durable and last in all weather conditions. You could start to look at plants that will work nicely in your garden. There are plenty of bushes and plants that last well and do not need a lot of effort to maintain. If you want to add a little colour to your garden, to feel like a beautiful exotic garden you’d find in a chateau, then some of the following make for a brilliant delightful addition:

Fuchsia.

Beardtongue or Penstemon.

Hydrangea Zinnia.

Sunflowers

Roses

Carnations

Helianthus annuus.

Hebe.

Cranesbills or hardy geraniums.

Indian shot or Canna.

These bring a vast array of colours to any garden and can be hung in hanging baskets on your wall or on to your fencing with hooks. It can brighten up any garden and take minimal effort. They may need watering on warmer evenings but this shouldn’t take up any time and they will probably not need any further vitamins added to the soil as time goes on.

Brighten It Up! Add some lights! Lighting can make your garden feel like a bigger part of your home. Fairy lights around your fencing or your outdoor plants can feel beautiful, especially in spring and summer evenings. Adding a little light will also add extra security to your garden and could act as a good deterrent. You can get solar powered lights or lights that run on batteries or evden from your electricity supply but be sure to check the settings and look at what will work best for you and your garden space. There are plenty of ways to spruce up your garden. Add some ornaments and this will help the garden feel prettier. Water features can work well but you will need a water supply system. Add some potted plants, ornaments to pop into your soil and look at a bistro table or a set for the garden to entertain during the warmer evenings. In no time you can have your garden looking and feeling magical! 2020 is the year to start!
