December Christmassy photo diary

Girly pink Christmas blog photo diary
A really quick photo diary to put up just before Christmas! Here is where I've been recently, from snaps on my phone. I often take snaps of things I'd love to feature on the blog but can never find a space for them... here is what I've been buying, seeing, enjoying, life through my lens.

1. Bunny lights on my bed! They are so cute and cosy at the same time.

2. A Run and Fly pinafore in the sale, down to £17.50! It has pockets too and I couldn't resist.

3. I joined the Simply Earth squad and been trying my hand at making little fairy things and calming lotions and gifts from natural ingredients and essential oils. More of this to come soon on the blog...

4. The huge, most amazing Christmas displays I have seen, when visiting Birmingham and the Christmas markets too (the boffins and fried potatoes are so good!)

5. The prettiest floral arch by the Olivia Burton counter in Selfridges, sparkling watches and jewellery everywhere. It was such beautiful set up! I absolutely love visiting the city for all the opulent displays and pretty counters, nothing like I've ever seen before and everyone seems to go all out for Christmas.

6. I made some festive treat garlands for my gerbies, it's much cheaper than buying the garlands in the shops. I use a needle to work little holes through pieces of dried apple and carrot, then thread them on.

7. A really cute and cosy cafe window in my town. I feel so at home here in winter, with the cute trees and wreaths, and the smoke billowing from the chimneys. It makes me feel like a child.

8. My favourite moment this December was Oscar's little nativity play in the church! He played an angel and we went to see his nursery class' Christmas tree with his little elf he made on there.

Thank you for reading this funny little festive update! I hope you have an amazing Christmas and have lots of fun spending time with loved ones and pets. Let me know your Christmas Eve traditions!

  4. Such gorgeous snaps! I've been looking into essential oils for my chronic 'brain pain' as I've started calling it (headache just doesn't really do it justice haha) but I don't know much about them. Unfortunately smells have been making me so nauseas, especially the typical essential oil smell.

  8. Lovely pics! I love all the Christnas decorations. I'm sad that they're going down now (in my family we keep ours up till Twelfth Night), but then if they were up all the time they wouldn't be special, lol.

Sweet pic of Oscas! Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. Happy New Year! <3
