Too Faced, The Sweet smell of Christmas set review

Too Faced holiday collection 2018, The Sweet Smell of Christmas set review
I treated myself to one early Christmas present this year, the Sweet smell of Christmas set immediately caught my eye, from the Too Faced Holidays collection 2018. I very much love the fact that each of the four shades, Pumpkin Spice, Sugar Cookie, Cinnamon Bear and Hot Buttered Rum, have their own gorgeous scents and adorable motifs all over the lids, pumpkin pies, sugar cookies, bears and mini rum jugs topped with foam, too cute. I love how much detail Too Faced put in to their Christmas range.

Oh the festive scents! Here are all four liquid lipstick shades from the set. They work out about £5.50 for each full size lipstick, which is so much cheaper than buying them singularly, where they work out
about £19. I can't get over how each cute shade name has a scent to match. The shades are deep, intensely pigmented, rich and warm, the Cinnamon Bear lipstick is the colour of mulled wine.

I am usually unsure whether to invest in a liquid lipstick, they are often hit and miss for me, I hate when they dry and turn all flaky and chalky. These dry to turn soft and powdery, and stick like glue. The formula isn't quite as nice as the NYX soft lip creams, but it is wearable and stays in place.

Here is the box, really cute and festive with all the little gold adornments. I wish I'd been able to afford the Sugar Cookie palette to go with it but it is quite pricey and sold out almost instantly!

From left to right, Pumpkin Pie, a burnt terracotta shade, Sugar Cookie, a really beautiful pin nude shade, Cinnamon Bear, an intense warm, rich red and Hot Buttered Rum, a burnt toffee caramel hue.

The staying power of these is amazing! They easily last for hours, though the fragrance fades, is most strong on application. The scents are very noticeable, I absolutely love applying them just to smell like Sugar Cookies, Hot Buttered Rum... all the festive scents! I definitely smell like a snack wearing these.

Aw wow, those little pumpkin pies! Honestly I feel so festive wearing these. They are all my favourite autumn and winter foods in lipstick form haha. Have you treated yourself to anything recently?
