Hello Leon, newest My Hummy sleep aid bear*

My Hummy newborn baby toddler sleep aid white noise toy review

Hello Leon, our brand new bedtime bear from MyHummy, baby sleep aid experts. Just today they released a brand new range of soft and snuggly bears to lull infants and me to slumber with unique white noise technology, to help your little ones settle down and comfort them when they wake in the night. You can find all the new gorgeous ‘Sweethearts’ and ‘Smarthearts’ here! Here are my thoughts…

I had no idea what to buy for the early, newborn days or what to invest in, I thought that knowledge would automatically come to me once I became a parent. I didn’t have a clue what I needed, where to

turn, what was unnecessary, and tried to think back to baby ads I had seen for help. Now Oscar is three and much bigger, I am kicking myself for not considering some kind of sleep soother or sleep aid, as we have had so much use now out of MyHummy’s Ash. He has gotten us through the rough, spilled Calpol and screaming filled nights that come with young children being ill, and helped us in so many ways.

It is so interesting to see how the sleep aid can help young children too, while it is perfect for babies and toddlers. If I am honest, the white noises definitely work however old you are haha, no kidding. Leon comes with a special soft heart shaped pouch to slot the white noise heart in to and a cot, pram or bed attachment that doubles as a teething ring. We love his soft, snuggly silver fur and his siblings Lena, Lily and Max, Mia and Matt each carry a different shape and colour for you to choose from!

My goodness, the facilities on this bear… there are two humming hearts to choose from, a normal Sleep Sensor one that includes special functions like a motion detector, that tells the white noise to kick in if your little one starts to stir and grumble. It also remains active for a 12 hour period. The other is a special Sleep Sensor with Bluetooth heart that has those features, but it comes with a special Bluetooth heart to connect to your phone. This means you can control the volume, the sound, duration of the white noise from your phone, from any room in your house! To choose which humming heart you would like to come with your bear, just hop on the bear’s page and select which one you prefer.

Each heart comes complete with five different sounds to play, a heartbeat, hairdryer, rain, soothing sea waves and a hoover. Each one is the pinnacle of relaxation, pretty much all of them have me asleep within five minutes haha. Once your child stirs, the sleep sensor activates, the bear magically comes to life and the sounds gradually get louder until they reach the maximum volume you have set, for the length of time you set, before fading away again. There are so many features packed in to one bear!

I really enjoy how they are such multisensory toy companions, both visually exciting and comforting to touch. Their adorable shapes remind me of the jellycat toys and how much I always wanted one even now. However old your little one, they will be impressed when they unwrap them at Christmas, adore squeezing their soft, plushy bellies and want to set off all the different audio sounds at once.

Oscar has developed a special bond with Ash as he associates him with feeling safe and cosy in his bed, it’s lovely to watch him pair Ash and Leon together. They are the perfect best friend bears for your little one to grow up with, while soothing them to sleep every night. Oscar has always wanted to climb in to our bed in the night but these bears help him to feel cosy, safe and settled in his own. Sorry for the text heavy post haha, I just wanted to make sure I did it justice; it is a revolution in sleep technology ♡

Oh how multifunctional! My roomie recently got herself a white noise machine because she hasn't been sleeping well, and it's worked wonders for her! Her white noise machine isn't as cute as Leon though ;P -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey's

This bear seems to be very friendly. I am gonna buy one for my baby. I hope it will be really helpful in his sleep training, he will start to sleep early and comfortably.
