Pre room makeover, I had long resigned myself to the fact that I would never be able to move my bed and furniture around, due to my big bulky bed frame taking up most of my little room haha.
I finally found a way to shift things around a little bit, to give everything a fresh look and open up the room, I really love it! In the winter, having my bed near the radiator will keep me nice and toasty and I also found having a window right there makes for the perfect reading nook…
I have my candles, books, cushions, duvet and the fields outside beyond the window… I can’t wait to get the full room up on the blog, I have lightened it up and added lots of prints, it feels airy and spacious.
This cosy lantern is from the Range, I picked up quite a few pieces from their shabby chic range as everything is pretty affordable… until you load your cart and everything comes to £9983 together haha
Does anyone else experience that with the home bargain store and especially Primark haha? Everything is really cheap until it’s really not when you get carried away in the Disney section and end up emptying your bank account. It’s always worth it though! Everything is of such beautiful quality too.
Thank you so much for reading and commenting! I can’t wait to get snuggled in my corner and catch up on blog posts and reply. Do leave me your links and website urls so I can check them out, below! ♡
Your space looks so clean and fairylike! I'm super jealous. Everything we own is pretty mismatched and handed down to us, so our house is awful. I really wish I had the money to do everything up and make it look nice and pretty!
Thank you so much Lizzie! Whaaaat I'm always thinking that about your style, everything is so cute and perfect 😀 haha everything in our living room is mismatched! xD ♡
Aww, this looks SO beautiful! You're very creative <3

What a gorgeous little nook! I recently had my bed right by the window, but I struggled making the bed since it was no longer centred in my room :')

Thank you so much Macey, that is so kind! Ahh I know those feels haha, it is tricky xD if I had a bigger room I would 100% have the bed in the middle haha! ♡
This is such a cute reading corner! I think having a cosy space to read and relax is so important. It doesn't have to be big, as you're proving us here 😀

Awesome post Elizabeth, I love the concept! Having a reading nook seems so fun. All the little homeware details make it seems so cosy. Have you ever read up on Hygge? There’s a few related books and I think you would enjoy reading about it. Hope you are having a good week and take care. 🙂 xx

What a lovely cosy reading space! I think I need a little corner like this to read in. I sell vintage flower books, so my house is filled with them all over the shelves – I definitely need a little space just to read in for me!
