Cute little Halloween finds

I can’t believe we are in mid October! This year I’ve been really inspired by @littletinyghost on Instagram and been collecting lots of Halloween inspired bits and bobs to give my room a spooky feel.

I love the feeling of autumn, October and Halloween approaching. There is a sense of darkness, loneliness, spookiness and it seems steeped in sadness somehow, but it feels beautiful…

This wooden hanging sign is so darling, I bought it on ebay for about £6. I love the spooky Victorian – American Horror story feel about it. It comes with string so you can hoist it up right away.

This little spook is so cute! I found him on ebay I go there for everything and he really looks like he’s going in for a hug all the time, so sweet. He has a little pocket space on his back for tea lights.

I have this thing for old things… I saw this beautiful aged teapot in a charity shop window and fell in love with it. It’s so charming, I just wish I knew how it old it is. Let me know if you have any ideas!

I have these cute little plaques from Tk maxx dotted all around my room, I love the vintage look of them, very shabby chic Halloween! They were only £3.99 each.

My diary for October, always on my desk. This month features lots of mini macarons and hamster/gerbil motifs (yay!), an omelette recipe and one for Savoury Laduree kisses, means and ways to use cranberries and the quote “For the love of the rose, the gardener becomes the slave of a thousand thorns”.

Macarons galore! Can you see little spook peeking out behind the diary? This is how I try to keep my desk, although having it right next to my bed means I more often use it as a bedside table. It’s so great to keep my cleanser in as now I never forget to take my makeup off before bed and never end up using babywipes instead.

I received this for my birthday from my mum, she knows me too well! It is a girls magazine from the year 1882, titled the ‘Girl’s Own Paper’. It consists of little stories and tips on how to behave in Victorian society, even drawing and sketching tutorials, sweet rhymes and jingles and reviews on “well harmonised and decided” pieces of music. It features the most beautiful illustrations and I have learnt so much from reading it!

I’m so glad this post gave me a chance to feature my old things haha, I utterly love collecting hoarding them. Are you like me? I hope you liked my Halloween decor pieces, I’m thinking of producing a ‘Halloween accessories’ post to feature my Pusheen spooks and wearable items! I’m in love with October and its rituals ♡

Wow, the teapot is gorgeous! What a beautiful find, so unique and full of history I'm sure. I like the fact that all these items are Halloween related, but they're still very cute and fit in your interiors beautifully!
