Like summer days, the moments enjoying an ice cream are fleeting, passing in a haze of silk sweet vanilla, “raw like grained silk”. From snapping open the tub, to fragrant mouthfuls sliding to nothing on the
tongue, each moment lasts mere seconds. Introducing Choc on Choc‘s Mr Whippy, as authentic and as ravishing as the original, but this one you may savour as long as you wish. Place in the fridge for added effect!
They are crafted carefully and entirely from Belgian chocolate, complete with miniature fudge pieces, just like your favourite Ben and Jerry’s. Let’s get on to opening these babies! They arrive in a large, luxurious cream coloured box and carefully wrapped and protected, so there is no need for extra gift wrapping.
Peeled from their plastic case, they are luxurious and intensely creamy from the first bite. There is a white chocolate layer with fudge pieces for the ice cream and the cornet is made from milk chocolate. They remind me of an expensive chocolate egg at Easter time my relatives used to buy me as a child, the taste is so nostalgic!
They are true to ice cream size and perhaps even bigger! The amount of detail they hold is incredible, they are a treat for the eyes alone and I could sit there savouring every indent, photographing every groove and hollow.
They aren’t hollow inside, which means they are of a good weight… mmm you can’t help but eat them slowly. PS I thought I’d sneak in a small peek at my Chip socks I’m wearing today, accidentally captured on camera!
You can buy two as an online exclusive for £18 and these mini Strawberry Champagne cones look amazing too! They would be so perfect to enjoy as part of at a picnic, make incredible summer wedding or birthday gifts for an ice cream lover. My favourite part is that they can be enjoyed all year round, even out of ice cream season. When it comes to summer desserts which would you choose? Ice Cream, Macarons or both? ♡
