I have been on a small blog hiatus as we have finally moved in to our first home after a year of planning! I have been struggling to balance house renovating, caring for little boy and blogging, whilst trying to manage on
little internet and feeling so sleepy. Taking a breather felt like the right thing to do, giving me time to bring my dream space to life and create lots of makeover content for the blog! I also turned 22 a few days ago and going to London was an exciting pre birthday trip for me; I hope you enjoy my photos from our visit!
I was so lucky to have a good day (and napped a bit on the train) so I didn’t feel too unwell and I felt relatively normal. How magical are these buildings? Like something from a fairytale, palaces overlooking Regents park, adorned with Narnia lanterns
just me? I’ve never been to Disneyland but I imagine it to be something like this.
Apologies that these pictures are pretty much buildings and me stood outside cake shops haha! I love this capture of the buildings reflecting in the window of Laduree, it really gives a sense of the romance and magic enveloping the city, so many beautiful things to look at. It’s a gigantic place and the streets go on forever.
So many beautiful buildings! The streets were so busy but I wish I could have spent hours standing in the same spot, admiring every turret and carved rooftop. A fairytale can be found round every corner and I have never seen such grand street signs. Not a stone wall or sheep in sight! An instagram opportunity on every doorstep.
The window of Laduree was covered in such pretty decal stickers, the best room decor inspiration! I had so many recommendations of where to visit but ended up just popping in every shop that took our interest on the way to Laduree. We stopped off in Skinny Dip and used the photo booth in there, a hilarious experience.
You can view our snaps here haha, I love that in the first I had no idea what was going on, we were both looking completely lost in the shop! Happily we were able to spend a last half an hour in dreamy Regents park before making a mad dash for the train home, only just catching it by the skin of our teeth.
Check out what I bought from Laduree here! Thank you so much for your amazing comments, I will return every one, it is so kind of you. Now that everything has been moved from my little pink corner, ready for our new adventure, I can’t wait to show you what I’m creating; see you on the other side! ♡
