Here is a little Oscar update-joint-insight in to our breakfast time routine. There are shreddies and wholemeal nutella bread slices on my Grandma’s pretty plate. Of course, he insists on a picnic in the bedroom!
Approximately five minutes after taking these pictures, Oscar went through to the kitchen, grabbed the eggs from the side and started throwing them all over the floor… cute to terrifying in four seconds flat!
Look at that cheeky smile! His little sun hat came from Primark and was only £3. It is exactly the right size and he loves to go around wearing it over his unruly blonde locks. He has had two haircuts now
very reluctantly and his hairstyle is starting to take shape, although he doesn’t let us trim the hair around his ears!
We are definitely in the treacherous territory of the terrible twos. He loves to scream and scream at the tiniest of things, not being able to get a leaflet from Booths, if his milk isn’t chocolate flavour
I feel you little dude if no one will play on the bed with him, if I laugh with anyone that isn’t him. He gets just as frustrated as me when I am too tired to read or sing to him, but is so affectionate and caring when I am upset.
He is so funny though and makes me laugh! The hat became a makeshift bowl for the breakfast, he pretends to read books aloud to himself, so cute! He wears peoples shoes that are about ten sizes too big. Oscar’s version of being private is him accompanying you and he brings about fifty coloured cars along to deposit in your bath.
He can say ‘stop’, ‘no’, ‘cahhh’ for car, ‘yeh’, ‘psss’ for please, ‘ta’, ‘busss’, ‘mummy’, ‘dadda’ and lots of different names belonging to family members. With help from my Granmama, he attends his library sessions every week, getting a little braver each time. Soon I would love him to start playgroup, a big adventure!
A favourite word of his is ‘tzuuum’ or zoom when he sees a motorbike or shiny looking car go past. He gets so excited about tractors, diggers and even I was excited
on his behalf when a car hauler drove past us one time.
Anyone remember that programme, Ripley and Scuff? He really reminds me of the Scuff character with his big eyes and crazy hair, it makes me laugh so much. Thank you so much for reading my little boy diaries, sorry this one is a bit picture heavy; I couldn’t decide my favourites haha! ♡
