Fairytale nails with Sally Hansen*

Sally Hansen Shell We Dance

These spring days and beautiful Sally Hansen shades have rekindled my love for french manicures and classic, glossy nails! These are perfect summer shades, delicate, milky, nails-but-better shades that make

a tan pop. An assortment of sheer and opaque shades means you can try all kinds of dreamy looks!

Sally Hansen Shell We Dance

Just pair with lace, boheme and Mediterranean sunshine ahhh. After application they lasted about four to five days of backpacking in the heat before starting to chip, which is amazing for me. They are easy to apply, with a generous sized brush and dry fairly quickly with one or two coats. Although the opaque Miracle Gel formula performed somewhat streakier, this is easily remedied by applying a second coat.

Sally Hansen Arm Candy

From left to right: two coats of Shell We Dance? a pearlescent buttery beige pink, one coat of Shell We Dance?, two coats of Arm Candy, a beautiful pearl pink, like the underside of a conch shell, then one coat of Arm Candy and two coats of Miracle Gel Creme de la Creme, an opaque, off white-pink hue.

Sally Hansen Arm Candy

This is my favourite nail formula so far, even topping Barry M for me! They are quite similar, though these shades last longer, feel more luxurious and don’t threaten to smudge as much when a second (or third!) coat is applied. The packaging is so pretty too, I love the silver tops see how I justify buying more.

Sally Hansen Creme de la Creme

They are cruelty free by Sally Hansen’s own admission and the vanilla shades are my favourite so far! Do you keep nails free or painted in the warm months? I love how once you find that one nail shade that means a lot to you – where you can’t stop looking at your hands when snapping open a drink bottle or reaching for a shellfish in the market haha – there is no going back! It almost becomes a part of you ♡

These polishes look lovely, I'm wearing a similar color on my nails right now. I love bright colors in the summer, but light pinks and whites have a place in my heart.

This shades are so pretty and delicate! I love a good pinky nude shade, all year round. Sally Hensen is a nice brand too, cruelty-free makeup is the best option to go for. In the warmer months I like painting my nails with either bright corals, reds and pinks, or with pastel shades like these 😀

Thank you so much Julia, I'm so happy to have discovered it! Every time I go past the Essie counters I can't take my eyes of the pearly pinks and beiges xD you can't go wrong with a classic nail! ♡

I love these shades. They are so nice for summer. And the photos are beautiful as always.
I like to paint my nails during the warmer half of the year, but like Julia, usually in brighter shades.
    Hope you're doing great.
    Much love,

In my opinion, light neutral shades are better suited for warmer days. Sally Hanson nail varnishs are simply pretty and minimum which is what I like for Summer. Cute packaging as well.😊

These look lovely. I have a few favourite nail polishes but always find myself reaching for subtle shades and nudes as I'm forever chipping my polish and I find they wear better / go with everything.
