Here are some happy little things from recent. The gorgeous sunny days, light mornings and evenings are such a breath of fresh air and worth every drop of spring rain. We are hopefully moving in come early
April and I am so excited to makeover our new space and get painting and decorating!
I am not religious but for Lent this year, instead of giving things up, I am donating as much as I can to help the millions of people suffering the terrifying East Africa famine. I will be working hard on my blog to put towards this cause – if you have a few bob you can spare do donate (you can use Paypal) here, imagine their feelings when the relief and aid comes through, then imagine if everyone gave £1!
I found this cute little blush and rose gold purse for less than £2 in my local Home Bargains! It’s like a treasure trove at the moment for blog photo props *raids the entire Mother’s day section*
New PJ’s are the best! These Pokemon ones, from Primark, are too cute! They were only £8 and I managed to scoop the last pair, a size S, although they are a baggy fit so not too tight. They are so comfy but light enough to wear in the warmer months. The lil faces are too cute, my fave is the Charmander!
It’s snowing blossoms! Can you see them floating against the roof of the museum? I love to spend time near our local museum, so pretty in spring, with two huge blossom trees just outside the gates. I always expect to see a ghost in those windows; the building is so beautiful too, formerly a wool warehouse.
Free Stuff Baby* I am such a bargain addict and love scouring this site at the moment, it’s so fun sourcing out all the competitions, giveaways and free samples haha. I’ve found free products from so many of my favourite brands, Yankee candles, Clinique, Benefit, Babyliss and Nars and there are also opportunities from companies to try out free samples of new products, such as Monu Moisturiser, Scentsy candle samples, Sunflower seeds, or Gingerbread treats for your pup. I recommend signing up with a different email to avoid your inbox getting cluttered, but entering competitions is such a fun hobby!
Hello little boy! Oscar is now 22 months old and quickly heading towards his second birthday in May. It’s so hard to photograph him as he won’t keep still! Tantrums have definitely escalated since my last update and he loves to say ‘yeh yeh!’, so cute. More crazy Oscar snaps on the way, what have you been up to?
I don't even wear PJs, but I NEED those Pokemon ones! I wish we had a Primark in Australia 😫 I love when bloggers write posts about what makes them happy, they're always such cheerful and positive posts to read ☺️ Oscar is also adorable, I hope his 2nd birthday is a good day for everyone! 😊

I love posts like that, that spread positivity and happiness. It is very thoughtful of you to be donating, and it is true that it's something we should all do, and as you said every £1 helps.
I'm also super happy with lighter and sunnier days, and of course blossoms dotted around the place – but my favourite thing about the coming spring has to be daffodils, they are such a happy flower! 😀
