An exciting project I embarked on this year was a special collaboration with the lovely Angi at Two Different Worlds. I am eternally grateful to her for sending me the cutest package of goodies ever,
including a special illustrated portrait and my first pair of chopsticks, she knows me so well! I’m absolutely head over heels in love with everything she chose: even a few things for Oscar to enjoy!
Perhaps my favourite thing out of the parcel was Angi’s illustration she had created for me, including a little picture of Oscar and all my favourite things! Her attention to detail is amazing, she’s even included one of my favourite dresses from this post and one of the pink roses that grow outside my bedroom window of our teeny tiny flat. It’s so beautiful, something to treasure always and Angi has such a talent.
We’re currently in the process of buying our very first house/upstairs flat just five minutes away from where we are now and Oscar has a Mr Tod figure for his very own room! This wooden fox would make such a cute addition to little boy’s space and I’m thinking about incorporating a woodland theme with Beatrix Potter pieces along with our stained wooden wardrobe and draws. What do you think?
Yay Peter Rabbit! This Beatrix Potter diary is adorable! It has a little lock on the front so I can write down all my most innermost thoughts – or world domination plans, as Angi aptly put it! – without little fingers prying it open. The design is so sweet and it’s definitely one of my favourite items out of the box.
The fact that it comes with a mini lock is something I will relish as it will be bliss to have privacy over my thoughts again! It’s so nice to have a secret space, separate from my journal that is filled with blog notes!
How sweet are these Alice in Wonderland little face sticky tabs? I adore anything kawaii x fairytale characters and can’t wait to add these babies to my stash and use them in my diary and journal.
I also received this little Peter Rabbit spoon, it’s so cute and something for Oscar to treasure always. He has already run off with it in his pudgy little fingers and hidden in his cot! It’s such a beautiful keepsake.
This little guy/girl is so cute! The only plushies I’ve had were tsums so this is the crown of my collection. Look at the rosy pink cheeks and velvety fur, I’ve been so spoilt. Now to find a name for this little one!
Japanese candy alert! I put out a poll a while back on twitter asking which type of sweets you preferred. The overwhelming preference was American candy: Hersheys and Jelly Belly mmm but I actually think candy from Japan has the edge for me! I can’t get enough of the adorable packaging, I love how much detail goes in to it, and the flavours are amazing. Unreal amounts of excitement for these ichigo kitkats!
This Sleeping Beauty tea from the Olde Young tea house sounds amazing! It sounds so dreamy and straight out of a fairytale as well as being incredibly soothing, and is the perfect pick me up after tiring day or a series of slumberless nights. Best of all, it’s brewed in Angi’s hometown – the perfect souvenir!
A huge thank you to Angi for the lovely letter and goodies and participating in this exchange with me! Head over to Angi’s gorgeous shortlisted corner Two Different Worlds for her stunning photography, adorable, eclectic flair and beautiful outfits. Keep a special eye out for her Penpal package review! ♡
