There's been a whole lotta Lush in my bathroom recently, mostly because all my favourite items decided to make an appearance in the Lush Kitchen at once! Apparently me being me cannot resist
these limited items. First is the Mrs Whippy bath bomb, with the Phoenix bubble bar to follow!
The name of this alone reminds me of the famous 99p flake soft serve, ahh childhood memories. Lush were experiencing payment problems on their site as I was trying to order this li'l lady, so I ended up on the phone to the nicest Lush colleage in the world trying to sort my order out. I cannot praise their service enough, this girl spent a good half hour trying to put my order through and taking my details down. When all failed, she didn't want me to miss out and so kindly gifted me two for free.
Mrs Whippy is possibly my favourite bath bomb of all time. It shares that sweet tonka-vanilla musk smell with Lush's Twilight and is incredibly calming, as well as being aesthetically beautiful. It is finished with a spiral of hot pink sugar that reminds me of Lush's heavenly Bubblegum lip scrub.
When in the water it erupts in to beautiful vanilla and fruit scented pink and white clouds and foam that linger on the surface of the water. It is, however, one that is best used all at once, which means you don't get as many baths for your money, but it puts on the most beautiful show. It takes a while to dissolve too, so you get to enjoy it for longer while it turns the waters pink and incredibly silky.
Its scent throw and explosive nature are unlike anything I have ever experienced before with a bath bomb, it is amazing! For me its scent is a cross between the Comforter bubble bar and Twilight.
