Happy Saturday bloggers, welcome to the weekend! I'm on a third sunny morning in a row, which is quite incredible knowing British weather. It'll probably be snowing again tomorrow!
Popped in to Boots yesterday and picked up some goodies from my Feb wishlist, along with some extras in the sale. Soap and Glory were on a 3 for 2 offer, so alongside the Breakfast Scrub and Whipped Clean shower butter, I got Peaches and Clean free! I also checked out the Rimmel Apocalips range and came away with 'Nova', a beautiful bright pink with blue undertones (want to review this separately :D)
There was a lot of hype over Elvive 'Extroadinary Oil' over the summer but I remember them mostly being sold out. I got this hoping it could do something for my dry ends, as I need something between conditioning. The formula is amazing and very moisturising - my ends look a lot glossier - and it smells like a sort of musky coconut scent. It's quite pleasant and reminds me of a perfume that I just can't place. The only downside is that the bottles looked a bit battered; the plastic was badly scratched and was coated with dust. Not one to judge by appearance, but perhaps they could be presented with a little more care, eh Boots?
This has to be the coolest scrub I have ever tried. I have to start with the smell because it is the best thing ever! Think waking up on a sunny morning smelling pancakes and toasted waffles oozing with maple syrup - and you have it. Not as oaty/bananery as I thought it would be, but even better in my opinion. Just try not to eat it! It's a very sticky, sugary scrub, much more so than the previous S&G scrubs I've tried but that just makes it yummier and better at exfoliating!
Overall, I don't have any issues with this product - even the high price is worth the amount you get! I'm so happy to have to tried it at last and give it a well earned place at the front of my cabinet ^^
5 shiny stars from me!
