Ice cream and trinkets...

Pastel girly shabby chic blog wishlist
Now is the month of Maying! You just caught me drooling over home decor again... I love making wish lists as part of my blog and as an excuse to go window shopping haha, even though we are meant to be saving up for
furniture. You know how it goes... you start searching for reviews on a specific table and end up seven pages in, at 1am, in the home decor section of H&M. Here are some things I've been summer spring loving recently.

1. Bunny cushion from the Range - one of those items you find randomly on Pinterest, you go to click on it straight away with the sad reality that it probably went out of stock three years ago, but it turns out it's still available AND in the sale! I would definitely pay £3 for this bunny cushion. I wish there was a Range near me.

2. Summer milk bottle set, Wilkos - For £6 these would be perfect for barbecues and parties in the summer. I love the cute vintagey is that a word bottles with stripy straws and they even come with a little carry crate.

3. Ice Cream shaped bubble bath, Selfridges - haha those things that you just don't grow out of, like those big character bottles of bubble bath I used to beg my mum to buy from Bodycare as a child. They just smelt sooo nice, even the plastic smelt nice. I felt excited when I saw this ice cream bubble bottle, love the novelty design.

4. Hunter shirt in blush, white and ash, Rails Clothing - This is such a pretty shirt, I love the muted blush, white and grey hues. It would be such a great multi seasonal piece too, the plaid pattern is so cute.

5. The Woman in White by Wilkie Collins - I have been absolutely loving the new Woman in White series on BBC, taken from the novel originally written in 1859. I have a huge love of historical novels and Victorian era flair and love how the series is set in Victorian Cumbria, in Cumberland (the northern part of Cumbria - although it was filmed in Northern Ireland). It's dark and quite difficult to watch at times, I would love to give the book a read to experience the original story and to see how it differs from the remake.

6. Stirling silver Amethyst wave link bracelet, Elma Jewellery - I gave this a mention in my crystal post here, the wave design is beautiful and I have a ring that would match it so well birthday pls come soon

7. Happy place message flag, Sass & Belle - I really love this cute sign and it would make an adorable gift.

8. Toulouse trunk, Dunelm - I bit the bullet and purchased this from Dunelm. I usually go for IKEA pieces but their toulouse range is so darling and emulates French chateau style furniture. I've been looking for another storage unit for our room and I'm so glad I managed to justify buying this trunk, I can't wait for it to arrive

9. Bunny spoon, Shabby store - This white rabbit spoon is so sweet, it even hangs on to the side of your mug by its paws. Heart won.

10. Ice Cream iphone case, Skinny Dip - I decided to put this one on anyway, even though it doesn't fit my phone (mine is an SE), maybe someone out there with an iPhone 6,7,8... will love it just as much as me.

11.  Studded heart cross body bag, Accessorize - Always finding cute bags from Accessoize, they know how to win my affections every time. They are of such good quality too, how sweet is this heart shaped number?

12. Bear camp print suitcases, Sass & Belle - I've had my eye on these suitcases for a while, I think they would look so cute in ours or Oscar's room. I really like grey and even monochrome furniture pieces because they will accord with just about any colour scheme, they are so versatile! I really like the midnight garden ones too.

Thank you so much for reading, let me know your links so I can visit you! May the forth be with you haha!

  4. Omg I can't get enough of how good your taste in things are! I wish I could afford to have a pretty home but everything we own is a hand-me-down (including some really ugly looking furniture). I absolutely love that trunk from Dunhelm!

  5. Ooh, I really need to watch The Woman in White! And then read the book of course. Dark period dramas like that are my favourite. The little glass bottles are super cute - how perfect would they be for summer smoothies or milkshakes?

  7. Catching up on posts and just read this one now. :) I watched The Woman in White too, I thought it got better towards the end. :) I have the book and I started re-reading it after the series started! It's one of my fave books, although it does take me while to get into it sometimes because of the old fasioned language! I recommend it. :)

I was confused about where Cumberland was and then my mum said it's Cumbria now, lol. I knew that one part used to be Westmorland.
