A teeny, tiny kawaii haul

Kawaii blog stationary haul
I really like the idea of living minimally and having only a few possessions but sadly that doesn't seem to be happening for me any time soon haha. I also seem to like collecting and hoarding and spending any money I
do have on pretty and novelty things. Especially when they are in the sale/only £5. Despite being totally out of pocket I managed to scrape together all the change in the bottom of my bag to afford a few cute things...

I found this White Rabbit purse in Primark for £5. I felt guilty at the checkout because is a rabbit purse really worth £5? I decided yes because it makes me happy haha. The cute sparkly nose, watch face design and pom pom zip charm are worth it. I love to collect white rabbit anything and am a big Alice fan, it's so darling!
So many white bunnies in my room! Funny story, when we popped in to Primark to buy the above as well as some bits and bobs, the security guard stopped us to give Oscar his own mini little shopping basket. I wish I had a picture of him carrying it around the shop, trying to put things inside haha! It was priceless, so cute.

I also purchased a few items from Modes4U. I saw they had Sammy the Patissier squishies on sale and I've never clicked 'add to cart' so fast. Ever since finding my strawberry chocolate doughnut by chance on ebay, I've wanted to collect more from the range but could never find them in stock. Modes4u deliveries always come packed inside these cute bags and take a week or so to arrive from Hong Kong, which is amazing.

The first squishy I bought is this chocolate churro heart with pink icing. I've dreamed of owning this for so long, this is my favourite dessert in the range. I'm probably too old for collecting dessert shaped soft toys but they are great to use as stress relievers and pretty satisfying to squeeze, plus they have a little ball chain attached, to clip them to your keys or purse. I just find it so darn cute that they look delicious too.

Strawberry icing dipped doughnut, complete with chocolate sauce and plastic sprinkles. Oscar thinks they are real and points to them, telling me 'Oscar wants some of that please, just a little one' haha. The way they create them is so clever, the underside has real toasted dough texture. Keeping it in my room only makes me hungry!

Finally I added a few pencils as they have such a beautiful range at around 98p each, from San X to Q Lia... it's always hard to choose. One of these has mini moons and bubbles, another has bread roll bears. They are all coated in cute illustrations, the little details so lovely to look at, the cute motifs at the end of each pencil.

I really wanted to pick up a Yankee candle in the scent 'Tropical Jungle' but didn't have enough, ah well, maybe next time! I love that you don't have to spend a lot for a nice little pick me up. These will all come in handy too!

What have you bought recently? Have you been enjoying warmer weather where you are? I'd love to know!

  10. Lovely post as always Elizabeth and I love hearing little story’s about your adorable son Oscar. I think little pick me ups don’t have to expensive, I agree! I love all the little bits you bought, they are very aesthetically pleasing to look at. I haven’t visited many blogs in a while, but I had yours on my list, as it’s one of my favourites. I’ve been enjoying the good weather, and my most recent pick me up treat was a mango and passionfruit cooler drink from Costa, I recommend it! :-) xx
