Taffy mail, candy on your doorstep*

Candy boxes are my go to present idea, I love giving someone the gift of trying all kinds of new and innovative candy, pretty much a Wonka factory inside a parcel. This time it was me on the receiving end, trying Pop
Tarts for the first time (yes you read that right) and trying to figure out whether to heat them or eat them both at once haha, they were pretty delicious. Here's a little look at what you might receive inside a Taffy mail box.

There is nothing more exciting than having a surprise box full of sweets delivered to your door on routine. Not only that, this one is packed with so many items, I wondered how they managed to fit them in the box. I would have given anything for this when I was younger, especially when 'trick or treating' was off the cards.

I was also impressed with how quickly I received the parcel and how great the variety too, legendary American candy brands alongside so many I hadn't even heard of. You're pretty much guaranteed to find something new to try, or a special edition you've never come across. There are so many 'out of the box' pieces, quite literally!

First up, aside from Pop Tarts of course (Cinnamon and Brown Sugar) are these cute little chews. I love the sweet name, 'Now and Later' and anything Pink Lemonade flavour is a win in my books. Not only cute on the outside, they pack a huge flavour punch too. I was only sad when they ran out, definitely need to stock up.

I received Hersheys 'Mr Goodbar', similar to Snickers here in the UK but the chocolate is so velvety. I adore Hersheys Cookies and Creme, so it was amazing to try a new flavour; I reckon I've found a new favourite.

These Mike and Ike's are the bessst, they come in cherry, grape and orange in this NBA edition (I don't follow basketball). The cherry and grape are gorgeous, I've literally had to hide them so Mitch doesn't eat them before me. The orange varieties were getting left behind so I'm putting them aside for my chocolate Halloween bark.

Receiving Jaw Busters was nostalgic for me, I was instantly transported back to the days of finding strawberry jawbreakers in the lone post office shop in the village or enormous gobstoppers from the Spar. These are weeny (I'm so glad) but so enjoyable, they are moreish and carry a lovely flavour without being overly sour.

These Snyder's Smores pretzel pieces make the perfect autumn snack, I can just imagine eating these round a campfire. They are the perfect amount of sweet and savoury, solid cocoa flavoured pretzel pieces.

This is such a unique item, I've never tried Kool Aid before! Grape is my favourite flavour too. I'm having a tricky time understanding the directions and converting to our UK measurements but I can't wait to try this.

Other items I received were tropical Fanta soda (like Tango Ice Blasts), Marshmallow cones, Kit Kat dark... Order them in for your family and friends - it's so fun watching them discover and try everything in the box, they make such grape gifts for the festive season! You can get 10% off the first three months with code ICCLARA. Thank you so much for your lovely comments on my last posts, I will be sure to visit back!

All of these treats look scrumptious.

Btw, you aren't alone with not having tried Pop Tarts before... (well not from what I can remember anyway).

  5. Although I don't like sweets, I'd love the chocolate from this box! This is always a fun present to get someone, especially with these treats being from the US, perfect for America fans out there!

  6. Yummy! I love Pop Tarts. I don't know if I'd be keen on other things in this box without trying it.. the chocolate doesn't appeal because I don't like nuts.
