Skin treats for allergy season*

Just recently I was so grateful to receive and trial a dear little parcel of Cetraben products. I love trying out natural and homemade remedies on my sensitive skin. It is so hard to know what to try
to help eczema breakouts when they occur, especially at this time of year, when my skin is most allergic! Poor Oscar is doubly prone, having inherited it from both Mitch and I.
My favourites from the range include the lightweight lotion and more hydrating Cetraben cream. Ingredients include light liquid Paraffin to replace lost skin oils, white soft Paraffin to form a protective barrier and Glycerin "to bring up moisture from deep down in the skin". Sometimes a little help from science can go a long way to achieve naturally beautiful skin!
They harbour a soft, clean scent, just like baby wipes and are equally as gentle on Oscar's delicate skin, keeping it soft and moisturised. I only can fault the product design as it can sometimes leak inside the cap and you end up with too much, but it doesn't affect the quality of the product. I just love how the formula sinks in and dries almost instantly, it's the most satisfying feeling!
It is so brilliant when you're on the go or don't want to wait for your lotion to sink in! Cue soft, baby smooth, silky skin, fuss free! It's also great for applying to Oscar's skin as it is mess free.
Little chicken hair loves it too! He had so much fun playing with the plastic caps and applying the lotion quickly became a game. I have now been trialling the treatments for a while and we have avoided any breakouts so far! It is also amazing for cooling down sunburnt skin, as tested on holiday here in Southern Italy! I only wonder if it might remedy the internet on my laptop?

  3. Never heard about this brand before, but it seems really professional and trust-worthy! Very dry skin can be really hard to take care of, so this is a product we'd all need at home just in case. Also, these photos are really sweet, I love how Oscar 'poses' for them, it's so delicate and pretty :D
