A look inside the Yes Style spring makeup kit*

Yes Style beauty box blog review
I'm such a stranger to Korean beauty so it was a huge treat to be able to enjoy the items from the Yes Style beauty box* as part of my self care routine. Recently I have been working so hard to try to take
Oscar on lots of outings; with my fatigue it's so difficult, so sitting down to relax with these felt amazing.

This little tub is so photogenic! Do you have those particular products that tend to behave so well being photographed? This Heimish cleansing balm reminds me of the eucalyptus trees in my Grandma's garden. It sings of a blend of eucalyptus, tea tree and lemongrass, so angelic, fragrant and relaxing.

Ingredients include citrus herb oil, coconut extract and shea butter and it has been very gentle on my sensitive, easily irritated skin so far. I love to rub it on my pulse points for the fragrance alone!

This RiRe dual blush stick is so pretty and perfect for spring! It offers a natural, creamy blush and the shades compliment each other so well, one a peachy coral and the other more of a primrose pink.

The shades aren't quite as pigmented as other blushes and don't tend to last as long, but are very buildable and should perform well with a setting spray. It's a perfect size to pop in your bag in spring and summer and wear with a BB cream! I love to wear both shades together as they compliment each other so well.

I'm so excited to keep trialling these Etude House Pink Vital Water skin samples the pink packaging definitely swayed me. I love the feel of the products, so cooling and fresh and leave your face so smooth, although they did tend to sting my sensitive skin a little. If you have normal skin you will love this range!

This is a liquid lipstick with staying power. The RiRe Lip Manicure Rouge Highfix is unlike any I have ever tried before. It quickly dries or sets to last up to 12 hours and once it is on, it's staying on. Once it has set, it does not transfer at all! It dries, without drying your lips, leaving a beautiful rosy hue.

Although it dries quickly, the formula feels like a smooth, protective layer over the lips and not uncomfortable, like others I have tried. The only fault I can find is with the bottle; the applicator is a little messy and it is often tricky to open! This item definitely surprised me in a good way.

This 'Oops' two in one highlight and contour product from Berrisom has become one of my favourite items from the box! The highlight is perfect for me as I have fair skin and I use it almost as a concealer. It is amazing for retouching dark under eye circles and gifting a fresh, dewy complexion.
I found the contour side a little awkward to use, as it is a few shades too dark for me and tricky to blend, but it will be fine for those with medium to dark skin tones. The packaging is so pretty too! I love the little doe foot applicator as it ensures precise application and is so easy to use, the formula so soft, creamy and blendable. It's perfect for tackling and use around the sensitive eye area.
These were definitely my favourite items from the box, but others include the COSRX Good Morning gel cleanser, MCC Accent waterproof eyeliner, A'PIEU My Little Mascara and Thank You Farmer CC and BB cream samples. The box is available to purchase here, with 30% off, it's definitely an unmissable edition! Have you tried any of these? What are your self care favourites?

PS thank you so much for your lovely comments! I will reply and visit back as soon as I can

  1. I've never ever tried Asian beauty products before, but some brands are really good according to reviews I've read. However I'd never seen any of the products from this box, but the whole sounds promising! The blush stick is really pretty :D And I'm intrigued by the liquid lipstick, the formula sounds rather nice!

  2. The heimish balm is my favorite from this box, I had the same problem with Berrisom contouring stick - it's too dark for me and I can't blend it.
