Our little blossom boy is already twenty two months and has started to say his first official words! I say official as, before, he would come out with words, for us to be amazed, to then never utter them again
I'm in love with these hazy blossom days that arrive but once a year and Oscar loves going to the park and enjoying the gentle sunshine, when I am feeling brave and well enough to take him in to town. He is still very shy around other young children and clings to me like a baby monkey whenever anyone comes near. He has a favourite crawly scary dinosaur walk he loves to do secretly, when no one else is around!
Oscar has a very clear idea of what he likes to be doing, which is so cute and funny but also difficult when he decides the bus isn't right for him or when wants to watch 3am telly! He has started to have little fits of rage and, for about 5-10 seconds turns in to incredible Hulk, smashing and crumpling everything in sight, followed by lots of screaming. He also has little fits of excitement too, which are so cute to watch!
Whatever you are eating, he will always sweet talk you in to sharing it with him
especially cadbury muffins. He adores having stories read to him and has a few favourites that he loves to read over and over - then pops them in the washing machine to have a wash after we've read them! His favourite toys at the moment are his cars and trucks and he loves to bring them in the bath with him and dry them after.
I'm really excited to see what Oscar thinks of moving house and having his own room! Another thing I can't wait to do is try and take him to the cinema for his first ever time - it's one of my favourite places - and also a playgroup that will be just around the corner. He adores animals, especially fish and pigeons; we would love to have our own little aquarium - but don't think we could manage the latter haha!
