Brioche Pasquier, a lovely cosy wintry weekend*

#ShareAMoment Brioche Pasquier review
Ahhh the colder months bring such lovely feelings of cosiness and contentment. You can feel it in the crisp, frosty mornings that show up threads of smoke spun from matchstick chimneys, tucking in to hot,
fat, salty, fried potato slices at the Christmas markets, or waking up to delectable pastries for brunch.

Setting high standards for breakfasts everywhere are Brioche Pasquier, with their freshly baked croissants, pain au chocolat and brioche slices mmm! I was so excited to host my own #ShareAMoment breakfast, involving hot drinks, nutella and sampling the St Dalfour strawberry jam that I received with the pastries! It was a lazy weekend filled with duvet tents, hill gazing and thumbing through pretty books.

Oscar was definitely intrigued and I have some very funny footage of him casually sneaking a croissant from under my nose, hoping I wouldn't notice! He tried to go for one in each hand and happily returned for seconds, with streaks of chocolate all over his hands and chin. Toddler approved!

How cute are the new Nutella jars too? We couldn't find an 'Oscar' in our supermarket so settled for a cute slogan instead. It still tastes just as good to little boy, who will eat it with just about anything (even peas!) The brioche slices were incredible under lashings of nutella, so moist, buttery and light.

All Brioche Pasquier products are free from artificial colours, flavours, hydro fats and preservatives, recognised for their yellow blue checked packaging and buttery, fresh-from-the-bakery flavours mmm!

They are perfect for when you're rushing or on the go, or to savour slowly with a coffee and blog (or 2!). The pain au chocolat and pastries make for one photogenic breakfast and are delicious for dessert too.

We enjoyed the pastries so much on their own, the jam was barely touched - although it is absolutely delicious and will go perfectly inside a Victoria Sponge. The festive season hasn't yet even begun and yet the food is in full flow! That is the perfect cosy, wintry weekend for me: full of love and good food

  1. Oh the photo with Oscar's little hand is so sweet! Brioche Pasquier makes good pastries, but of course as a French person the only pastries I'd recommend are those that came straight from the oven of our bakeries :P Pains au chocolat are my favourite pastry <3
