Etude House color my brows

Happy Sunday! I haven't actually done a beauty review/update for a while so it's definitely the focus of quite a few posts I'll be bringing out this month. Beauty blogs are very often my
favourites and I get a lot of inspiration from them for my own work.

This is the second Etude House product I have tried so far - I might reveal the first in my beauty favourites post coming soon! - and I have been interested in trying this for a while. I have super dark eyebrows that are quite a bit darker than my hair colour, inherited from my mum, who has a much more olive-tanned complexion than I do. It has always been a challenge to make them match when I have tried highlights in my hair or a different colour or shade in the past.

I found this product super cheap on ebay a little while back and decided to give it a go. Although it took quite a while to reach me, happily it came with a few free samples of other famous korean beauty products! The packaging for this is so cute like most Etude House cosmetics, it makes a very pretty collectable. It came snug inside a little cellophane wrapper and the product itself hidden inside the cardboard slip, adorned with instructions (mostly in korean!) and illustrations. There was a variety of shades to choose from, from reds to very dark browns but I chose Blonde Brown so it would have the greatest impact upon my dark brows.

Results: I am definitely impressed with this product for its price, I do think I would buy it again, even though I only use it occasionally for dressing up. It is easy to apply with decent coverage and you can definitely notice a difference when applied, although the effect is subtle and looks very natural. If I ever want to introduce some lighter highlights to my hair in the near future this will be wonderful to use, to achieve a more natural look. It's definitely good value: the only fault I can find is that it is not too long lasting, but I'd like to try a makeup setter to see if it could improve the longevity of the colour.

I'm really impressed with the service I received when buying from this seller as the free sample sachets were a lovely touch! I also can't bring myself to throw away the packaging, much like I can't with empty Pocky biscuit boxes, all the illustrations are so beautiful. I feel like I must put it back in its packaging after use! Do you love Etude House?

  4. I've never heard of this brand, but a couple of your commenters seem to have so I reckon I should look it up! My brows are slightly darker than my hair too, but i've only been using brow products in the last year so i'm sure there is lots for me to try out there!

  11. Etude House is originally from South Korea and is very popular here in Asia specially in my country Philippines. I love their product because its gentle to the skin and yes greatly made product. Some of my favorite products are their face mask and the wonder pore total pore solution.

    1. Hi Vicky! I was always curious as well but it is really effective :D I can't speak for other shades but it would probably work better for thin brows rather than thick brows as it would to look more natural and less 'cakey' if that's a word! The colour would probably stay better too. Thanks so much ♡
