Romantic October park

Parks are the nicest places to take leisure in while autumn is here, they become a wonderland of changing leaves, conkers and squirrels alike. It was especially sentimental for us as it is two
years ago I first used to meet Mitch here and autumn is such a memorable time for us. I found the tree we first sat under and laughed at the memory of me staggering and falling over backwards after noticing a spider hanging above me! I'm totally not the only one who does this.

I wonder how many different people the park has seen and how many stories it could tell from over the years. It was so nice to push Oscar round so he could observe the leaves swirling, one after the next, and take in the gold-copper landscapes of his first autumn. I wore my 'jammy' dress with jumper on top and the temperature was chilly but moderate enough to sit in my dress in the park. Oscar was bundled up in his knitted cardigans, drinking warm milk!

He loved seeing the 'squizzel' squirrels too, making growling noises in the trees! We picked up three pumpkins in town too, it must be so exciting to be a pumpkin farmer and grow fields and fields of them! Autumn is such a magical time, there is such a glorious feeling in the air.
It's probably way too early but have you bought pumpkins yet?

  17. Oh, this is such a beautiful post - your dress is really gorgeous too. I've been foraging so much this autumn, we have conkers littered all over the house because apparently they keep spiders away! (anything to keep them away!) ;)

Just stumbled across your blog through some links, very glad that I did - what a lovely little corner of the internet! x
