A world with Octobers

1. Chocolate Milk bag, Accessorize - I love this shop so much, I end up falling in love with everything from window displays to little girls party accessories! This quirky chocolate milk bag
is perfect for a dress outfit and I have this urge to take it to the cinema and buy popcorn.

2. Knit and Leather driving gloves, Accessorize - These gloves are so beautiful! I adore the combination of knit and leather with the ribbed pink cuffs; they are kind of pirate mountain girl with a feminine twist. I love the rustic leather alongside the pastel pink.

3. Baby snowsuit, Asda George - Is October too early to consider buying the little swan a snowsuit?! I think it's meant to turn extra cold this coming winter - that is my excuse for trying to find one big enough to squeeze myself in! One of the first things I was excited to buy for Oscar was a huge, cosy snowsuit, even though he was born in warmer weather.

4. Gingerbread socks, Accessorize - Let the period of novelty socks begin! It always makes dark mornings a little more exciting to pull on cute gingerbread socks and feel toasty in penguin patterned heels for the rest of the day. Such a small thing makes me feel so excited for winter.

5. Pirate boots, Ebay - I have such a thing for period costume! I end up browsing Gunne Sax dresses online for hours on end, even though they are so expensive and belong in distant worldly locations. Either that or I am sourcing out vintage pirate girl boots on Free People. I found these gorgeous (expensive) costume period boots on ebay, I would totally wear them every day and am committed to locating an equally warrior girl style belt to match.

6. Suitcase storage, Sass & Belle - I have been looking for a pretty means of storage to keep all my bits, bobs and buttons in (not to mention stationary) so I can free up an extra draw for Oscar's amounting little blankies, winter shirts and cardies.

7. Fleur de Figuier edp, Roger and Gallet - I spied some in a little French chemist a month or so ago and fell in love at first sniff. It's definitely more a musky smelling perfume than what I buy usually but I was immediately reminded of the smell of dragon's blood incense and little spiritual, crystal-selling shops: it's a very gorgeous, mysterious, calming, bohemian scent.

Happy Autumn! I just love watching the leaves blow across the pavements.
What are you loving this October?
