Unboxing Pandora rose

I couldn't keep from feeling as though it were a sin to lift the lids of these little wax-white cases! It reminds me of the fairytale where Pandora's box is opened, releasing evil omens in to the world: wicked thoughts that meddle in daily affairs and continue to manifest in even worse deeds. Once they are released they can never be contain'd again! Aside from its fantastical name, Pandora is one of the few types of jewellery that actually makes me 'eeeee' and I have long been a dedicated admirer of the dainty and intricate pieces.

The Rose collection is deemed particularly magical, due to its unique rose-blush hue that is very popular at the moment: perfect for warm-toned individuals, where gold is so dear in price! I have never owned anything from them before, or any rings aside from very old ones - hence my excitement upon being presented with a ribbon-tied bag upon my birthday, a few days past. I confess that it was opened right there and then, before any chance to photograph the experience, but is not that the best way?! I loved the bracelet so much that I may have  ended up in store for the rose gold bow ring the next day, to relive it all over again...

I opted for the free gift-wrapping in store; I think it makes any jewellery even more special to have it gift wrapped; there is a supposed romanticism about it all that makes it even more fun to open! The white textured box was deliver'd in this little wrapped parcel and the ring inside is so dainty and delicate and very sparkly. The rose gold is very pretty and I love to envisage passing it down generations on one day, like my great-grandma's and victorian generation rings, even if the sparkles slight and fade.

It is my first ring that is brand new! It is also a ring that keeps giving you surprises: upon closer inspection, there is a tiny engraved heart on the inside. I believe the current Rose collection to be a trial, hopefully for a larger rose-gold range to follow, although I hope I am not mistaken and we lose it from our stores! However, I suspect it is one of their most popular ranges at the moment and have faith that it will wait around. These are very simple, yet whimsical pieces of jewellery and the simplicity of owning it is so special!
I cannot believe I am twenty years old, it isn't real yet!  What is your favourite jewellery at the moment?
