Wow! I was so surprised to find my GlossyBox had come this morning and was sitting on the table all waiting to be unwrapped! I wanted to dive in straight away but, wanting to share it with you, held back until I had my computer loaded properly. I'll be unwrapping it as I go - so lets get started!
Ooh - yes GlossyBox, I will most definitely be yours. I love the cute Valentines theme and all the sweet pink packaging! Will definitely be saving this box, it's too nice to throw away. Let's take a first peek!
Nestled in the pretty pink shavings I've found some really great products, plus a lolly addition, which is a really sweet touch! Here's a quick look at what's inside, from left to right,
Rituals Magic Touch whipped body cream - 4/5 from me. It smells absolutely divine, to me like creamy coconut, exotic fruits and the smell of flowers you'd find on holiday. Yes - it smells like holidays! I found it not as moisturising however, so would probably use for the scent and maybe wouldn't repurchase due to the high price tag.
Miners Cosmetics Lip Colour - 3/5 from me. Not the best lipstick I've tried, the formula is quite dry and not so pigmented. It has a lovely subtle rose colour and goes really nice with added lip balm, but probably wouldn't repurchase. For lippies I highly recommend the MUA range at Superdrug - for only a quid each you get creamy longlasting colour and such impressive pigmentation!
MeMeMe Beat the Blues - 5/5 from me. This has to be my favourite product! It's an amazing skin illuminator, which is subtle but makes you look really fresh faced, comparable to Benefit's High Beam in my opinion! Would repurchase.
MicaBella Mineral Eyeshadow - 4/5 from me. A really nice lightweight formula with lots of shimmer! I got a gold-brown shade and it proves to be both longlasting - I can hardly get it off! - and highly pigmented. I only object to the amount of shimmer it has - I'm not sure I would wear this day to day as I look like the glitter fairy xD Maybe wouldn't repurchase.
Figs and Rouge Rambling Rose lip, face and body balm - 5/5 from me. What a sweet little tin! With cute vintage packaging, it's a beautiful little addition. 100% organic, and super moisturising, it's multipurpose and can be used anywhere. Plus it smells just like Turkish Delight which is always a bonus! Would love to repurchase.
